Great example...after passage of T.S.Debby of Florida

Storm went out to sea Northward sending a NNE 3ft swell with a 2 knot drift going southward

Well last night sea breeze kicked in at 5pm...wind direction SSE at 9 knots (side-side-on)

"Opposite to the drift direction"....glassy ocean..3ft clean waves..11 knots of power..YOOHOO !!

Surreal 2 hr session on my XR2 19 and my Whip 5'7" (kiteloops/downloops transitions etc etc)

I was out with 2 other LW friends who also had a great time

One had a Dyno 18 and the other a SP3 21

... I know exactly how you feel... some days you can just be lucky 'ey!

I've had solo sessions where conditions didn't look great but thing just combine the right way to make that crazy cool session happen. Once I had the tide going upwind around some rocks with just enough wind using my Dyno to move me along and a little 2 foot standing wave as water wrapping around rocks. Amazing light wind fun.

Who says light winds can't be cool??

cheers,

Robbie :D

that current was super annoying, i went surfing for a couple hours and pretty much every wave you caught youd have to walk back a quarter mile upwind
