I have a switch bar and lines I use with my Bandit V's, I find them fine, they have stretched a bit as they are thin, but adjustingg the back lines is no biggy. R ather than another bar, take the 3m extensions off nearest the bar, then re-attach the remaining 20m lines. Add the 3m extensions back on these. Finally add somepigtail extensions as the the larkshead line is thin on the extensions.

I constantly take them on/off on the beach depending if i need more or less power and tuck them down the neck of my wetsuit. :D

Apparently few kiters prestretch the lines when they get new bars/lines - I know, supposedly lines have been "prestretched" but not to the extent of when used to kite.

I learned to additionally stretch new lines by attaching ends to nail or rope or whatever and then hooking into harness and really lean back - not just against front lines but also pull hard on the rear/end lines.

Now you've stretched ALL the lines and they should not significantly stretch with use - but still check them periodically.

But if it seems too short - you can just add the 3m extensions :naughty:
:D Peter

Tnx Peter, that's exactly what I ended up doing, order the lines and 3m extensions.

Tnx Mike, I have a buddy that his lines stretched like 2" after 6 months of below average ridding, and I've read a lot in the Switch forum about line stretching issues. Mine haven't yet, but I pre-stretched mine, and I only have like 4 seshs on my lines.

I always do this as well when I get fresh lines, I was told to always do this ... so I do. Makes sense.

Thanks guys, I couldn't pass up on the LF lines deal, so I ordered them hopefully I'll like the 18s otherwise, I'll add the 3m extensions and call it a day.

LF lines are great, my center lines only stretched maybe 2cm in 6 months of use. they seem very high quality. dunno about the length question though i've always ridden 22-23m lines.
