So i just sold my 2 smaller kites to buy new gear. All I got is a 15M Matrixx and its blowing about 25-30mph.

most I've been out in (with this kite ) is about 22 and felt really powered.. any thoughts on whether or not this is safe? I'm riding Flat water if that helps...

It is pretty safe if you can self launch and self land it 99.99% of the time in such wind

If you are a very good kiter, it is ok (if it is warm air).

If none of the above, don't go out in such winds!!!

I think if you have to ask the answer is no.

I've had my 15m speed out in winds gusting to 25 knots and it wasn't fun any more for me. I'd much prefer to be on my 10 in those winds.

I can't even hold onto any 12m i've owned in more than about 22-25 mph. good luck
