I'm looking for a killer deal on a new quiver of wave and or freestyle kites. Anyone have a good inside line on such a deal? (my old source dried up)

fyi, a killer deal to me is 30%-40% off 2012 kites.

Thanks

Take a look at Switch Kites www.switchkites.com
Prices are unmatched in the kiteworld.

Im loving the element, but it depends on how much of a freestyle kite you want. Its great, but its still not a C when it comes to yank and slack.

From what I've seen of F-one's pricing that should bring it down to about 110% of most brands MSRP!

Let us know who is selling new 2012 gear at 30% off , ok?
That would be a sad story. Can't sell current years stuff? :allbegood:

My calendar says it's July. Even then, that's a bigger discount than most dealers work on.
Maybe 25% off in Dec. Even that reaks of desperation!

A number of brands have begun to release 2013 gear, so if you look around you'll find great deals on 2012 styles.

I thought brands were starting to release kites in there actual year. As in start in January and run through to December to stop the crazy deal thing mid year. My mate owns a shop and this type of deal really makes life hard for him.

But I guess that's the business he's in.

Personally I would prefer January to December as then the year of the kite would really be the year of the kite. Plus it would mean deals over Christmas which would help convince the other half that a new kite is a good idea :-)

Anyway good luck with your deal hunting.

I bought two kites and got the third ( smallest ) free :-). Not sure that deal is on anymore.
