How do the flying characteristics change because the bridle points are moved to accommodate a lighter bar pressure?

Obviously it's positive the bAr pressure is lighter, but what else changes. Example: turning speed, power, ...anything negative or positive to report.

Nothing else seems to be affected, I did a 4 hour session where previously a 1 hour session would be heavy on your arms. This was on the medium wingtip setting too. Haven't tried light setting on the wingtip yet.

[quote="Westozzy"Mike can you comment on the difference in the VX on the 8m with the flatter profile this year than last? ( eppo here from WA here, westozzy name on this forum. Ride the VX on your advice and stoked).[/quote]

the new kite is faster and more efficient again, especially in the 8m size. The designers said it was closer to the razor, rather than 50/50 between lithium and Razor, but in 8m I'd say it was every bit as fast and forward turning..
It's a really fun kite but you have to ride it fast and in wind...

Thanks for that Mike. Got out on my 2012 6m yesterday, 21 to 33 knots (gusterely north wester), had a blast. Damn that kite asks you to ride fast, was good in the surf to. Really impressed. Took my new shinn monk out a bit later, and omg, with the little rain about, the speed of the kite coupled with this kite was stinging the crap out of eyes. Fast but totally in control, couldn't break that rail if I tried.

Hey Guys,

The 2013 Lithium video is posted up today. Airush thought it would be fun to shoot it a bit differently this year with synced and doubles riding. haha enjoy! :)

For those that already try the 2013 lithiums how it compares to other brands the bar pressure like for example 2012 North Rebels. Similar bar pressure, more or less?

Thanks for your help.

Hi! If any of the Airush guys are here: Looking at the FS Pro there are some guides to selecting the correct size board. Do you have any recommendations in Livewire sizing as well?

Myself I am 80 kg, and want to ride with boots, unhooked wakestyle. My skill level is medium (raileys, kiteloops, simple rolls unhooked)

In advance, thanks

Rebel's bar pressure is very light. The Lithium is almost exactly the same as the EVO
I own Rebels and Evos 2012 at the moment!
What I can say is that it is lighter on the 2013 Lithium than the 2012 Lithium by a fair margin. :thumb:
