Plummet not at all a light wind kite only. I have an 8 and 6 and though I've only used the 8 so far it's definitely not a light wind kite only.

The no strut us a result of a nice and tight canopy. These days whenever I see a ton of bartend and struts im thinking the designer is a bit lazy.. That said it does depend on the kite too.
The kites feel a bit different but not much. For me this journey started with the park and then ride.. The strutless kites works great.. And take 50% of the slave. Say what you want.. It matters...

Since this is the thread where I originally came across the Clouds, I thought you all might want to see some videos I've made while riding them. Mostly with a foil, but not all:

5m Cloud foiling https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=55ZiKDQ_Rrc
7m Cloud foiling https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p0xDjCeozrA
9m Cloud foiling https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G_ClXE5j2Vw
12m Cloud foiling https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kNtHp2yDQyc

Just sharing the stoke. I love my Clouds, and my foil. Of course, they work great with regular water-pusher board as well :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hasJIqhdMOQ

There is also a thread here I started about foiling with the Clouds:

Been out on my BRM Cloud17M C2 on both water and snow now. Definitely a session saver in marginal conditions and a fun kite to fly. It has its own learning curve but I expected it would and am enjoying the challenges and achieving fun results when I figure out its uniqueness. Boosting is different but very floaty and fun once you have it dialed.

I've seen a lot of commentary on how great Greg is to deal with and how thorough he is answering questions about the kite. Its always nice to deal with someone who has passion for their product. I'd concur with every positive comment made about dealing with Greg. I'd like to add 1 thing. While its really nice to receive good treatment when you want to buy....what really matters is customer service after you've paid. This is where Greg is exceptional. I had an issue with mine and Greg was all over it making everything completely right. No hassles about showing the issue, no hassles at all....just great service!

I've really loved flying the Cloud, now that I know how solid Greg is about standing behind his product I know I'll be back for the rest of the quiver I've been dreaming about and will be comfortable in saying that Greg is as good as it gets in customer support. Its more like a brotherhood than customer/company type relationship. Very unique and appreciated.

Nice vid, next time the Cloud start to back down either push up on the bar or pull on the center line. I even sometimes let go the bar and pull on the center line a couple of times and it comes back up, that is what's nice about the Cloud you can let go of the bar since they are very stable.

Thanks, that time I had probably 3rd session with the kite and first in such light wind! So I was over-sheeting it a bit, and I will definitely try pumping center lines!!! :mosh:

Aloha! Been a super long time since I've participated in any discussion here on the forum. Hope everyone has had an awesome start to 2015.

End of last year I was consumed by a life-changing infection. Hydrofoiling. If you haven't done it and want to preserve your current passions toward the water's surface I encourage you to keep a very safe distance from these infectious wings.

Here's a song in honor of my break-up with the water's surface:

Greg, do you think you'll ever go back to water-pusher boards?
