I have a 3m hydra too. Fun kite on the beach. Certainly tough. Can get squirrelly when the wind picks up, which is fun, when you know what you are doing, but not so much for learning, especially if you are a lightweight.
The Viron 4m is also tough but much more civilized. It does seem to need wind to start flying nicely though. Can't comment on the 6m deluxe.
Guess it comes down to cash flow...doesn't it always though?
