Hey bros.
A knot has snuck onot one of my power lines. The question is. should i leave it there or should i undo it? will it be weaker if undone or stronger?
PS that is of course if i can get it undone without damage.

Undo it. Take your time, work at it in front of telly... they all come out eventually.

FYI
My bother bought a used kite and the lines had two of the tightest knots I'd ever seen in my life.
Was advised to soak and use safety pins to undo.. this did not work at all.
I then took a hammer to it and gently tapped for about 5 min while rotating the knot. Came out super easy using this method.

hammer is the best way. you can also sit on the beach and chew on the knot to loosen it

I tried chewing on it too (and I know chewing from my sailing days) and these knots are so small that its almost impossible.
Trust me, just use a hammer on a none abrasive surface (like a wood surface), tap lightly and a couple of minutes later you can pull the knots out. Sounds crazy, but works

An Awesome Thread !!
A question, then a few responses with suggestions, then an ending with everyone apparently "Agreeing" on the solution !!!
Wish Life were always that easy !
