Being selected as an Olympic Event, Kiteboard Racing will be subject to controls by the World and National Anti Doping Agencies. The next update on the list of athletes to be controlled is expected for January 2013.

We have published some information on the WADA inspection process as well as information about Therapeutic Use Exemptions in the "Olympia" section of the website.

Make sure you don't show up to the competition drunk from the party the night before. It's a performance enhancing drug in sailing and shooting. Also caffeine is regulated also so no monster, red bull or dunken medium roast.

Kiting TOTALLY sober?! Craziness. I'm pretty sure if you tested the guys at my spot, or even the air in the park, it'd raise a few eyebrows!

Other than the mayhem that might ensue because someone forgot to buckle their harness or connect all their lines, who cares if the guy kiting next to you is giggling a little too much?

I'm glad that all the world's bigger problems have been solved so that now we can turn our attention to making sure we rid the beaches of the stoner menace <insert sarcasm here>.

Aloha
