No other company spews BS out like this, if you are going to, you need to back it up legit!
The product is not the hated material, the product is great, it may not fill everyone’s need but most. Quality is great.
But claiming BS crap that they do takes away credibility.

Momi is defiantly one of the best designers in the industry, no one can question that.

But as far as being a real player in the market Epic will never be with the over the top BS.
They have good people using there gear, but not many in the big picture.
And yes time will tell!

Epic could have been a real player. They will sell gear but never like a mainstream company.

But there should be no hate , and the goon squad needs to realize this is about claims made that are not true, nothing else. The guys calling out have a very legit claim.

This has been fun to read!

@supachip1,

Have a look at that line of well crafted BS... the truth part is obvious but the fiction part is VERY subtle. It's not meant to be harmful to anyone for sure.. but it just doesn't tell the whole store accurately and therefore is a good candidate for the BS pile.

Kites can't talk is very true... but they can communicate when in use in the form of physical rider feedback, maybe even "yell" at you and toss you into a pile of rocks if you're not paying attention to what it's "saying". Even when packed in the bag kites can communicate... put it away wet for a long time and it goes moldy and stinks and falls apart... serious communication... when translated
it means... "dick head you put me away wet... dig out your credit card".

So to say kites can't speak is true but they do communicate in there own amicable way...

@SupaEZ1957,

If you want to know what a kite is saying you really have to take it out on the water and let it speak for itself. No BS from a kite... it speaks the truth and we all know how fond of the truth you are.

We all saw what happened when SupaEgo got a chance to let the kite speak for itself. He let his ego get in the way and turn it into a dick-measuring competition with Dimitri. Lighter rider, bigger kite, longer lines, bigger board, bigger pussy.

Truth be know..the Infinity was crying, sobbing so much near the monster (my 19m2) at showdown
....that you hardly hear a word...but some words came through

Truth be known..i could hear the internal dialogue of the promoter (Dimitri1969) also very clearly

It was saying....(Dimitri1969)
....if i go get my bigger, wider Quad surfboard in the van and add 5m lines to match Supa..
....i will still fail to outperform him because of my extra fat of 17 lbs..and smaller kite

It was saying (Dimitri1969) might as well stay on my TT with 22m lines..
....this way i can use 4 excuses against Supa

His weight..his lines..his boards..his powerful monster (19m2) were all the reasons he did better

I could barely hear he V3 talk to me through all the sobbing when i flew it on the beach in 5-6kn..
...so sorry is what i heard......that i do not have the power of your agile monster (my 19m2)

Same thing happened on the water when i took the V3 out in 12-14kn before the rain storm
It said to me (the V3)..so sorry that i am yanking so hard on the lines creating the illusion of power....
...so sorry that i cannot pull you upwind like your monster (19) that has so much effortless top end

I was listening and the message was clear...kites do not BS...only people can..and promoter does

V3 gave me all the true feedback i already knew....promoter Dimitri1969 does the over the top stuff

Man, that makes no sense. Is English your 3rd language? If you speak the way you write, you probably sound like William Shatner reciting spoken word poetry on qualudes.

Lighter...rider........bigger......kite.........longer lines.......bigger..........board......bigger.....pussy.

Hansen Aerosports wrote:the true measure of light wind performance is upwind VMG(efficiency) which becomes more evident as the wind dimishes. High aspect/high projected area kites are typically better in this regard. Low aspect 'bucket' kites typically sit deeper with grunt and faster turning. There is plenty of middle ground and 'bragging rights' (highly dependent on the board/rider) so the real test is effective upwind VMG.
Cheers! :thumb:

Laughingman and among others like above proved there is no ground work
to believe the 16m can fly in 2 - 4 knots what was claimed and go upwind better
than any other similar or bigger inflatable kites. :naughty:
Anybody who only believes that without verifying or doing it, It's B.S. :!: :!: :!: :argue:

Ok, ok, we get it. "Yours" is bigger than "his". I think I remember hearing this exact discussion almost daily in 5th grade. Penis envy, pure and simple.
