I've noticed some adds here on KF for IKA insurance... Anyone looked into it ? Is it worth anything ?

Yes. I noticed also. Here is a link. http://www.internationalkiteboarding.or ... le&id=4867So now it looks like we have the IKO option or this IKA option. Both say are valid worldwide (incluidng USA) I think. Thoughts? (im afraid to ask from past discussions on this.... )

It looks good to me, just remember that 2 mil clause is third party protection which is still good to have. You never know if you have an emergency and eject your kite or something, the kite might fly off somewhere and cause mayhem.

Having insurance is one thing....having the insurance pay out after an incident is something else all together. Hope there are some people out there with any experience when it comes to the coverage these insurance claim vs what they actually cover.
I think the insurance from worldnomad also covers kite boarding btw

If this is insurance bought from another country from the place that you are a citizen/resident so that you have no legal rights whatsoever, that is ridiculous
"Hello, this is you bank manager, please can i have you account number and pin number, for security check to win $1 000 000"

I have a copy of the policy, but it is in German (I barely speak a word!) I see AxA's logo in the policy, but need someone to read it who can make true sense of it. If you can understand German and have some experience of insurance and willing to translate the salient points, I'd be glad to share it. mail me: badgb21@hotmail.comKev
