Anyone ever try the LF Twin Skim as a wake surfer?
I'd like to have a light wind skim that can double as a mediocre wake surfer as there are usually other people around with inland surfer boards but it'd be nice to have it as a backup when wake surfing in the summer months.
I know with no fins it would be very loose on a wake but I'd be interested to hear from people who've tried it.
The price of the Twin Skim is also very attractive.

I was looking at this with a friend who wake surfs a lot, we were thinking the kite fish was more similar to a wake surfing board than the skim, mainly because it has 3 small fins and is roughly the same shape. I believe the twin skim only has one tiny center fin, which would probably make it pretty slippery. Guess it depends on how seriously you take your wake surfing, because it would still be awesome to kite with

Phase 5 makes some nice skim/wakesurf boards. Pricey but nice. I'm sure any wake surf board would work for light wind. They are made for early planing since it is a wake and not a wave pushing it.

The kite fish actually is a wake surfer, they just added straps to it and sell it as a kiteboard. I've had a kite fish and I'm looking to change things up though even though I know it's a decent wake surfer.
The twin skim has 0 fins afaik. I know it will be loose, but with the pointy end back it can probably still get the job done so I was looking to see if anyone has given it a go.
