I have just got some used 150 skis with the bindings set for a smaller foot. I want to open them for my boots.
With the rear part set all the way back, I am about an inch too short, so should I remove the front part and put it ahead 1" ? Or spread the front forward 1/2" and the rear back 1/2" ?

Ideally, you want your boot sole center aligned with the ski center. You might have factory marks on both to aid with alighment. Seems like 150 skis might be small especially if they're skinny or if you're skiing powder. Good luck!
You really should go to a shop to have these remounted. din settings are based on your height, weight, skiing ability as well as the length of the boot sole. The other issue is the forward pressure on the heel. Too much will cause you to pre-release. Nothing funner than moving along at high rates of speed with a missing ski.
