Day three of the Marsala freestyle World Cup 2013 started with some promising wind, but it never materialized. The forecast was for a building thermal wind in the afternoon but it was not strong enough to compete. In the evening the last heat of the men’s single first round went out with Spiessberger and Guias, but the heat was canceled due to light winds. Many riders went out when the wind was building and were able to land some nice tricks.
Even with this light winds Madson on his 14m was able to and his KGB 5. Spiessberger was putting some nice stylish grabs on his mobes. Borisov was charging hard and the young Aruban Burgers was getting some nice back mobes and front blind mobes. Van Westerop and Lange also went on the water to take advantage of the light breeze.
The village at the event site is full of activities with aerobics, skate ramp, DJ, bar and many more things to keep everyone entertained. The forecast is good for Saturday; we will be shooting for a 9:10 start in the morning.
