Typhoon Soulik is coming to town... The size of its eye looks bigger than Taipei city.
11 meter waves in Windguru forecast.

Typhoon Soulik brought some damage early Saturday morning.

Windguru was right on predicting wave height of 10.8m as Keelung Buoy recorded 10.8m at 3AM on Saturday.

We were prohibited :nono: to kite on Saturday (actually not brave enough to). But over 30 hours after the eye of the storm past, we went kiting at noon Sunday while the buoy showed a manageable 0.9m wave... nice joke, Keelung Buoy.

Shore breaks had us several times yesterday. Luckily lines didn't tangle us, only a few small scratches and hundreds of little pebbles in our ears, mouths, noses, and credit card swipers. How'd that feel? That swipers felt itchy with pebbles inside and was hard to remove during the session.
