Has anybody ridden the 2014 drifter ? Looking for info on how it is compared to the 2012 and 2013 drifters. Love my 2012 drifters but its time for an upgrade. Any reviews would be appreciated.

2014 drifter feels pretty much the same flying.
Maybe a wee bit more reactiv, which I attribute to the rethought front line setup (all the way down to the adjusting belt). Aside from that the obvious material changes.

I heard the bar pressure was higher on the 2014. Anyone else find that?

The 2014 is faster, feels more direct, and has lighter bar pressure.
The 2012 and 2013 had one wing tip connection while the 2014 has two.
The 2014 is shipped attached in the B setting which is the same as 2012/13.
The NEW 2014 setting is closer to the wing tip; bar pressure is lighter, turns faster, with a longer depower throw than the B setting. The B setting has bit more bar pressure, more direct feel, and a shorter depower throw than the A setting.

I argree that moving the V of the front lines to thee top of the depower straps aids in the direct in the direct feel and more responsive to bar input.
