Kiteboarding Watch

Postby jakster4 » Mon Oct 28, 2013 2:26 am

I'm looking for a watch to wear while out on the water. I was thinking about just picking a cheap water proof one. But then I just saw a post about a garmin watch and thought it was a cool idea. It would be nice to be able to see the temperature, compass, time while out on the water and possibly have gps tacking ability.

What are you guys wearing? Any suggestions for a good water watch? GPS and nonGPS?

Thank for the help!

There was a thread on gps that got me into hunting for a gps watch. I remember there was a watch thread too but i cant find it. This one may or may not have some info. Ill post a review of my garmin fenix after my upcoming trip.

If you don't want a GPS watch, Amazon has great prices on some cheaper surfing watches. I picked up an Armitron for $20 that's been with me on every session for a year so far. Already have several scratches in the face so I'm glad I went cheap.

this is the one I have: ... B002DL4KCS
