Today I was riding in Kanaha and due to a Halloween party I ended my session earlier than usual. After a few minutes I was taking a shower near Ka'a Point when I heard a siren and I saw a firefighter's chopper flying at low altitude in the area. Then I realized that something wrong was happend. A friend of mine told me the entire story. A kitesurfer fell off his board and he was bitten by a shark! Later, a 12/15 foot tiger was spotted in the area. Fortunately the kiter was not seriously injured. For the entire story:

I remember back in 2000 or so a windsurfer got bit pretty bad at Kanaha. I never waterstarted so fast in my life on that trip!
