The limited is a more "advanced" board- accurate, skaty, a bit stiff and super light.
Vanguard is more similar to Trax from F-one for example, with better accessories and pop IMO.

The New Wave should change it's name into "candy" - there just isn't anyone around who dislike it. Immediate bonding, comfort and feeling like you've been riding it for ages...

Cheers

We took our demo New Wave to Brazil on a recent trip and one of our guys used it every day, you can grab it anywhere on the rail and it doesn't slip like on most normal surfboards and because of the grip deck it also does not matter where you land on the deck..you just always seem to ride it out, it's so forgiving.

One of the biggest problems I have with my surfboard is that i need to handle it with care outside of the water. A kite trip abroad is an excellent way to test that. How did you find the durability of the Newave ?

The New Wave is obviously quite different in construction to a regular surfboard...prob me more like a tt.
The board has stood up well although there have been a few chips to the outer gel coating, nothing major to worry about though.

The flex of the Newave looks very interesting.
I wonder if it also makes the board turn tighter.

It was expected that this post will drift away from the initial topic, but hey, at least we are still talking boards here.
Anyways, I put my order in for a new Vanguard :-)
