what is the windiest Caribbean islandduring winter?
preferably with sandy beaches and wave spots.
Dominican Rep Cabaret!e i!s fine but I guess there must be more windy islands further east as they are more exposed.
it could be Barbados which has as main drawback the high cost of living and high cost of housing
Please advice
.

Hard to beat Aruba (east side) for daily decent wind. Small waves but still fun.
If you want bigger waves then Barbados.

my vote goes to Barbados.
Jamaica is also windy most days but i'm not familiar with the wave spots, i'm sure there are some though.

I'm pretty interested in this spot, have you been recently. ...... It seems that the flights might however be difficult, there used to be a weekly charter from Montreal but it seems to be no more,
and going via Caracas is not recommended from what I've been advised.

Aruba averages about 20 kts/day. Do you want more wind?

Aruba, Boca Grande for sure :thumb: . Was there for a week last year lots of wind with great kiting each and every day. Kite Inn looks like an ideal spot only 5 min to Boca. Price is right too. Is there a pool? It may be difficult to get my non kiting spouse to stay there if there is little to do in the vicinity while I take the rental car and go kiting.
