Hi there

I'm spending some time in Gran Canaria, is there any spots thats good here?

I don't have any equipment here so rentals or even better demo-days would be nice!

Any advices on kitesurfing or surfing in GC?

I was in GC in november. I took my kites, but I rented a board via Pozo Winds. Their shop is in Pozo Izquirdo and they work with a kiteschool from a guy called Juan. I nice guy, talk to him and he can tell you about spots. I went to Vargas, not far from Pozo, but I believe that this time of year the wind direction usually is better for spots in the south.

Juan has North and Nobile equipment.

Gran Can is difficult: the best spot is the beach after the dunes and you only can reach it after a desert or long beach walk.
Maspalomas is feasible (west of the Dunes)
Pozo is known for Bjorn Dunkerbeck (windsurfing) - with awful egg shaped rocks.
Just south of the airport is also a possibility.
