Hi, does your line manager work with a bar that has line extensions at various points like an airush Smart Bar?

Wow! these are all awesome pictures. This contest has just gotten a lot harder for us to judge and looks like there will be strong possibility of having more then one winner.

Keep them coming and good luck to everyone!

Hi bigwave,

We too here have various bars with added line extensions and have had no issues pulling them through the line guides. At the very most, you may have to gently tug on the line to get the extensions to pass through the line guides. Inner diameter of the line guides is a little over 7mm or 0.25"inches.

Thank you for your inquiry

Seems to me it stays on your bar till you rig, then toss it in your bag and go riding. Not a big deal having one more thing to deal with if it saves my time and frustration.

Hi matth,

Thank you very much for your purchase. Your Quick Connects are on their way. Here's a little trick we use in keeping our Quick Connects with us during our sessions and ensuring not to lose it, even during the hardest wipe outs.

You'll find that in most board shorts, if not all, have a bungee cord loop sewed into the pocket. We simply pull the Quick Connect's rubber strap up through this bungee loop & then back over the Quick Connect itself.

No way to lose it even with the hardest crashes, that's if you don't lose your shorts too. This way we have no worries about losing it and have readily available to use upon landing.

Since QC is so simple to use that even if we come for only a break, we still use it to wrap up our lines in case the winds drop (as so often does in Florida) and end up call it a day.

Hope this helps. We also hope you enjoy your new Quick Connects. If you have any questions and quick responses you can contact us at info@RogueKiteboarding.com

Enjoy!

Hi blazeheli,

We have to say, that when we came up with the whole idea for this contest, some of us wanted to hold off, due to timing with regards to the frigid weather factor most are experiencing.

Man did you prove some of us wrong. You my friend are inspiring! Good Job! :thumb:

This place is a real bitch to run out your lines. I currently use the cabrina line manager, would love to compare yours with theirs.

Now, that clearly can be defined as a "sketchy" launch site.. Thanks for your entry.

Quick Connect Contest Winner Announced! - Contest Now Closed

Postby RogueKiteboarding » Thu Feb 27, 2014 3:16 pm

We would like to thank everyone for all the great entries. Narrowing down to one single winner was very challenging, to say the least.

All the entries had elements we were looking for:

Entry #1 Blazeheli – Crowded site, great humor (love the pink shirt)
Entry #2 Southflorida – Very small site and easily crowds (have been there ourselves)
Entry #3 Blazeheli – The second photo was inspiring showed lots of dedication, to say the least!
Entry #4 Slappysan – Very crowded and we loved the scenery
Entry #5 Laughingman – The sketchiest site… we’re tempted to send you a machete!

So after 10 minutes of back & forth; we decided to stick to our motto and do things “Beyond Conventional” in true Rogue spirit we tossed the contest rules out window! So simply put… Everyone that submitted is a Winner!

CONGRATULATIONS! Please send us a PM through this forum with your mailing address so we can get your Quick Connect sent out to you.

Once again we’d like to thank everyone for participating. Looking forward to your feedback. We’d also like to thank Toby for allowing us to post and therefore, we’d like to show him our gratitude and offer him a Quick Connect as well.

Enjoy!
