Any restrictions at Poetto b. Cagliari for kiting in March?

Postby swell » Sat Feb 15, 2014 10:43 am

A question to italian kiters: are there any restrictions of using the Poetto beach in March for launching kites? I mean the urban area closer to marina that is used by sunbathers etc.
Thanks for any input!

Hi swell,
have fun in Cagliari!
Usually till late spring summer there are no restrictions for kiting. I've to say that the area close to the Marina is not the best for the wind (there is a big cape), kiters are used to lauch from the sixth (bus stop) or in Quartu area.

Ciao

Thanx baobob!
I have to choose between several accomadation options, that's why I'm asking.
Would be nice if it's possible to kite right in front of the appartement without carying all the racing gear to much around :)
Maybe see you there!
