Customer Service

Postby billybob » Thu Feb 20, 2014 2:19 am

Kite companies are always getting bashed for poor customer service after the purchase. I guess I have been lucky over the years; full kite replacement (Wipika Airblast), bladder replacement (Slingshot), free kite to use (Best, while awaiting ill fated Hellfire delivery, ended up with free BFK), to name a few. I posted a few months ago reference cracked bladder valves on a 2012 Catalyst. Kite was a year out of warranty, so I wasn't expecting anything from Ozone, just curious if others had the same problem. A few emails later new bladders are on the way. Thanks Ozone.

Thanks Ozone.

MY experience with Ozone is Much different than yours !!

My first Ozone was an instinct-Sport ; bought it new about a Bunch
of years ago, (when the first batch hit the market). Also owned a few
Ozone Edges of various sizes and Years .

They NEVER gave ME a Free replacement bladder !!!

Ya wanna know WHY ??
Because they made there equipment Good enough
that i Never Needed a replacement Bladder ; and i abuse there stuff
kinda Bad, by leaving my off-size kite for the day, in the back of my Van
at Mohave,
when it's 110 to 113-F in the shade !!!

Thanks OZONE !!! :thumb: :thumb:

When contacted directly via their websites or email...

Always good service from Flysurfer!

Great service from Epic.

Ocean Rodeo is very good.

Cabrinha is fine, much the same as any big company.

Great service from Aboards.

... the only place I get slack service from is the local kite shop :o oh and Ozone - but I think their network in Japan is busted.
