This Chrono looks like i kite i would enjoy ; hopping they make a 3 or 5M for my
land buggy, because I absolutely Loved the Razor !! The Razor only had a AR of 5, and
Ya had to be WAY out in front of it when flying ; sort of like a small delay when Ya ask
it to please turn. Yes it would turn, but wanted to wait a moment before it did, and ya
got Massive power out of it , when done correctly. If i lived in San Diego, i'd absolutely
get one of these new kites from Ozone !!!

Hopefully some reviews coming soon. Seems like lots of Chronos from the pictures of the foil races starting this week. The only review I saw so far though was a photo comment from Bryan Lake that said "Sweet kite". Sounds good so far :thumb:

Looks like Flysurfer made the wrong  move with the Cronix in an over-saturated LEI market. IMHO they should have made a Chronos instead, a no compromise super Speed for the avid racers.
In any case, Ozone's new creation will raise a few eyebrows amongst the foil skeptics, and that's a good thing, not to feed the pointless debate, but for the sake of diversity. Boards come in so many variants whilst you can hardly tell a kite from another when it's not the occasional foil...

I'm always glad to see something new and different.

I'll take a look at anything that's reliable, stable, flies to the very edge of the window, packs small and light and is really simple. LEI, closed cell foil, open cell foil, single skin foil, framed single skin bridled foil...all are interesting to me. Almost all of us are kiting because a few people were willing to open their minds and push new limits.

Looking forward to the next few years.

Perhaps "Almost" was superfluous.

Looks like a great kite.

Those thin bridle lines are a concern to me. I'm sure they are strong enough, my concern is tangling. I had an old FS Speed 17 with very thin bridle lines that tangled like crazy. I've always liked the bridle material in my Ozone Frenzy kites, because it was a thicker and never tangled.

Wonder if anyone that knows this kite can comment on this.

I second this opinion. Variety is the spice of life.

I would also not be surprised if FS were to drop a race foil on the market in the near future...
The Speed 4 was definitely a safe, user-friendly play, which leaves a clear void for a race kite in their lineup. It seems to me that it is a growing market too. Ozone and Elf beat them to the punch though. I would like to get my hand on a Chrono for a test.

You are so right. I threw in the "Almost" because I was thinking of Cory in Oregon (USA) and Bruno & Dominique in France who were the ones who opened their minds and pushed new limits for the rest of us. I'm always inspired by and appreciative of what these guys did for us.
