You are cheating - you can´t just say Adam as no. 1 when there are more than one Adam participating :D
Agree on you with the starting fee. That is a bit high. I am planning to participate in Silvaplanna as an amatour and also thought it was in the high end...

You got me
All right, all right . Adam Koch - that's my candidate for Nr.1 in Mexico.

See you in Switzerland!

Alex Aguera seems to have patented a new way of mounting the wings. Looks like there is a cone shaped interface and the wing is slid onto the cone and attached.
You can see it in the photos where Adam Koch is working on his Aguera foil.
Looks very sleek and streamlined. I'm sure the future will be with deep tuttle mountings and very streamlined foils like the Aguera.

The wind today (Thursday) for the practice sessions is a steady 9 knots. Tomorrow looks bad but then Saturday and afterwards should have good wind.

(I am getting this info from ikitesurf.com)

If anyone knows of a link where we can see a report on racing each day, please post.

Somebody said on the Kite Racer forum that Rista is no longer producing fins for raceboards? Anyone know if that is true?

I know he had some videos of foils a while back, but don't think they ever went into production.

Paulo Rista made some of the best race board fins until a few months ago. He is no longer in the business (unfortunately). He was also a very accomplished foilboarder, I have seen him ride at Jaws. It is too bad he isn't involved in foilboarding now either.

Bryan Lake is the top American At number3 so far, Johnny had a DNC, he can still catch up.
