The Dialer is a perfect beginner to advanced kite surf board board for small to waist high surf, light wind cruising or use in mushy waves. These boards are a perfect first board for someone just looking to start directional kiteboarding on surfboards but a great option for the experienced kite surfer as well and is not a board you are likely to ever grow out of.
We have 2013 Dialer's available for $449 in the EPX and $499 for the WVX.
We've had a lot of people ask what’s the difference between the WVX and EPX constructions on the surfboards?
WVX is Slingshot's wood sandwich construction made with layers of bamboo in addition to the traditional surfboard construction. It’s incredibly lightweight and allows a more dynamic flex. The bamboo makes visually beautiful boards that have a simple, classic look. The EPX construction was completely new for 2013, giving riders an option with more durability, more colorful graphics, and a lower price point while still getting a board that is high performance with the latest technology. Both constructions include Slingshot's new Vibration Dampening System, Fluid X. The EPX model comes with plastic fins instead of the glass fins that come with the WVX, but upgrade fins for the dialer are available for $40.
*Because of the box dimensions, shipping on these boards to any US address is $50.
See you on the water,
