Postby Valentino » Wed Apr 16, 2014 5:50 am

I just get the ronix 2014 one boots, how i can customize using the heating liner features? Is it worth it?

I don't bother with the heat moulding. Have and love Ronix. Will only buy boots with intuition liner cause nothing beats custom fit, but the heat moulding is not at all necessary and has potential to screw up with over heating. Just ride em. They will conform to your feet nicely within a half dozen sessions and are comfy first time out. Trust me your not missing out. The foam is the real deal, but the heat fitting... more of a sales pitch.

Definitely not just a sales pitch, but it depends on how the boots fit to begin with. I am in between sizes, the 11 is a little big (and they get bigger over time, not smaller) and the 10 hurts after 20-30 minutes of riding. I heat molded my size 10 ones and they feel amazing now, perfect size and they're molded to my feet perfectly

Yeah sure, the half size thing maybe, but if they aren't so tight its uncomfortable I wouldn't heat em. Like you say, they ain't getting any smaller! They will soften up soon enough.

Maybe ride em a few sessions and see if you need the room.
