Tough, tough night again. The start of the one race we had was delayed, started, and delayed before finally starting. A big flood tide lead to some super flat water, but effectively meant we lost 3 to 4 knots of wind off a light and patchy breeze. I missed the start in all the confusion and after heading in to get a 13m when a 11m seemed a bit small. Once again we had carnage on the course and a busy set of race committee boats picking up downed kites and riders. It's frustrating when we've had good wind almost everyday since the last no wind race and it disappears on race day! The five people that finished (all on foils) made it look easy again. Yes five people out of ~40 of us finished! Johnny and Chip sent waves of interest through the fleet after using their 12m (I think) Chrono's. They certainly seem to hang in the air longer than anything else.

Sorry, I'll try and get kite sizes in future, it's tricky when you're trying to get ready to race too though.http://www.stfyc.com/files/2014%20TNKS%20April%2024%20Results.pdf
I've seen Nico in San Diego a lot this spring. He's been riding a KFA foil and Ozone kites along with a couple of Chronos when it's really light. I can't remember who makes his board.
