Just had my #1 line snap inside the sheathing. It's the line that runs through the pulley and has the pigtail. Took me 3 sessions of checking till someone else told me about this as it happened to him. Sure enough snapped inside. Dealer is sending a new one but said Ozone knows about this issue with the first generation and do not cover under warranty. Hmmm

With foils being the kings of the lightest wind and therefore being used close to unrelaunchable winds, I'm surprised we don't hear much about swims in with foils.
Is it a very rare occurrence?

I find ozone quality and their support good.
Bridle lines breaking running through the pullies are a maintenance issue. Its simple wear and tear.

You'd think if it was wear and tear, the sheath would ahem wear... not the core break inside the sheath!

I have had over 200 days on my 19XR3 Core since i bought it and very often ride in over 15kn wind
The solid black bridle lines running through the 4 pulleys shows very very very little wear at all
Bombproof bridle lines apparently
Zero maintenance....i like that

But your kite doesn't win races does it?
These things are built to be as minimal as possible to get as much performance as possible. If they built like a truck. It would last for ages but it wouldn't win anything.

OK but such small weight saving on bridles is not wise on a ram air that could become water logged
