North Juice is real

Postby NorCalNomad » Fri May 09, 2014 6:55 pm

Looks like that internal letter that popped up was in fact real.

15m: 9-17 knts
18m: 7-15knts

4 line with 5th line able.
AR = 5.3 (which is actually higher than the 2013 Dyno at 5.2 :?: )

Nothing in the info that pointed towards that it is aimed towards airstyle.

I'm pretty sure what you posted was an internal newsletter, and that's why it was removed. But non the less I'm bugging my local North shop to get some info like pricing on this bad boy. Companies sometimes will send out confidential advanced notices usually a few months or a few weeks to have their dealers/ distributors to be ready, but they aren't for "public consumption." Like GoPro sent out a confidential alert a few weeks before the gopro 3+ dropped.

I'm scratching my head about what the target riding style this kite is for? Any ideas. Apparently if you believe those strange wheel charts north publishes, got plenty of low end, lift but hangtime less. Light wind all rounder maybe....kind of like an ozone zephyr given norths only real large kite option is the dyno..? But zephyr more wakestyle capable....all round freeride kite for light winds...

it is not an Airstyle kite!

A kite to cruise around, works also well for hydrofoils etc. Turns faster. According to Ken Winner.

That's exactly what it is, a lightwind freeride kite. Something more friendly than a dyno.

good lowend - quick turning
