Kitesurfing in Cumbria

Postby lakeskitesurfer » Wed May 21, 2014 4:29 pm

Hi all,

I've just moved from the South where I did all my Kitesurfing in Calshot/Lee on the Solent, to Ambleside Cumbria.

I've looked on the Beaches page of the website and seen Roa island, Walney and few other places and I just wanted to know which beaches people up here mainly use and if there is anything unusual to be weary/watch out for e.g. submerged rocks, strong tides etc.

Cheers

Julian
