F-One Bandit 6 vs Bandit 7

Postby igoryak » Sun Jun 01, 2014 12:46 pm

Hello,

I'm in the market for buying a 12m Bandit,
Since I am a beginner, in my area 12m are used for their low-mid wind ranges more than its upper limit.

I have seen some say that 10m and 9m have somewhat reduced lower end, but what about 12m? I know F-One makes little changes for different sizes to suit their target windranges better.

Is the Bandit 6 more suitable for a beginner on 12m ?

I ride 134x41 Rayo and 153x46.5 Spike. 80kg.

Thanks

Bandit 6 or Bandit 7 will work great for a beginner. The 12m Bandit 6 and 7 have same low end power, the 12m is grunty with strong low end. The difference you will see in the Bandit 6 vs B7 is the Bandit 7 has a higher top end, aka more range and the Bandit 7 has better drift and a more solid canopy with the new double rip stop fabric.

In my school I teach on the F-One Trust 2 Freeride kites and on Bandit 7's. Check out the F-One Trust kite also. I ride the Trust and B7 and love them both.

In no case do not buy the F-One Kites. I am talking about their own experiences. Here are the salesmen who praise this product. The quality is horrible, is not a guarantee. Buy North Rebel, Evo. You will not regret it.

Estonia we are all sick of your bashing brand posts!

Take care of your kites and they last. Dont over inflate or leave them out in the hot sun on the beach and you wont get blown stitching. Ur pics clearly show you over inflated and/or left on a hot sunny beach for too long. Ive seen it on many different brands of kites.
Learn to take care of your kites. Treat them like crap and they will go to crap so take your whinning elsewhere. The only one valid gripe you have is the rubber depower handle. That did have some issues of ripping off the rope and F-One quickly replaced every bar no questions asked. Out of all the brands I sell F-One service is hands down the best and has been very reliable in quality and virtually problem free out of the tons of F-One kite I fly, demo and teach on plus the hundreds I have sold in the last 5 years.

Im not a some hpye the brand up salesman so go %*!@

igoryak had a valid question and I gave an honest answer from my experience flying F-One kites. I ride all the brands I sell and only recommend the kite that will be best for what the customer needs not forcing a particular brand on anyone.

(stonia we are all sick of your brand bashing posts!) Have a question, who are you?

Is inappropriate to say anything that you do not know. Definitely did not leave the kite down the beach solar UV. Do not ever leave the kite in the wind to the beach, rub the cloth on the beach.

Pictures it is clearly seen that the seams are damaged in specific places. Consequently, there can be an over-pumping. Then it would be stretching the other places. This factory defect.

With regard to the F-One depower handle it does not fit anywhere. The new handle is 1mm thick depower strap to slip away, it is impossible to draw warm glove. there is a circle of waves can not get there hands on. I pulled the rope, but not depower the new handle. F-One does not know what does?

Himself did depower handle, 101% better than their factory. Add photos.
