excellant pictures. looks like classic buckling failure of bottom skin.
i'm not the one to give advice on repair. without a sandwick skin ( or even stringers), i would have told you it would never last a week. "undoing" the damage will be more work than starttng from scratch.
It may seem like a lot to build one from scratch , compared to two halves that just need to be stuck together. once you get over any emotional involvment and sort out the details you may see it differently.
you could certainly use it as a template to practice and develop necessary skills or techniques where you may lack confidence.
