high quality squash racket grip - a red left and a blue right. - does need regripping just like a squash racket, tried some high quality hockey grip too which was good too. does wear out fairy fast but is for sure best grip i ever used - the most grippy bar are thin ones.

i cut the old grip off. A thick bar is much harder to hold onto unhooking.
that's pro job above.

I hate colours on my bar.....too confusing....the best is black and white like the gaastra x2 bar.....white =right, black left.....
Gaastra kites use the same colours so it makes it always possible to see which way is right !
easy when spinning the bar......

Any comments on "stop" or "wrong" text on the bar?
Is this easier than remembering colors?

I don't think the "stop" or "wrong" is as important.
For me, number one reason to have the color is after a fall or being rolled in a wave. You come up for air and the kite is falling to the right side of the window. Even before I come up I can feel that it's going to the right and I need to grab the RED side of the bar. I look down in the water and grab the red side and pull. Kite doesn't crash and get eaten by a wave.
The "stop" or "wrong" takes a few more mental steps in that situation. You think: kite is going to the right, normally I would grab the left, lets see if the bar is backwards, yes it is, that means grab the other side. All has to happen after you see the bar.
I think the "stop" and "wrong" is good for beginners though so they don't pick the bar up backwards when launching and do a kiteloop pulling on the wrong side and wondering why the opposite is happening.

Yea I agree and I'm hesitant to do this to my bar for this reason- even though it would be really nice to have an updated grip.
On the other hand I think a thicker bar is more ergonomic for individuals with carpal tunnel syndrome or repetitive stress injury at the wrist.
