Postby hoxton » Fri Aug 22, 2014 1:29 pm

Hi guys i'm starting a Kite School! (sweet)

and I would really appreciate it if you would take a minute to fill out my tiny survey. it's only 10 questions and it would really help me get my business plan together.

Just a quick suggestion to put your location somewhere on your website, preferably on the home page. Hoxton Special?

Most of your business will come through online searches like "kiteboarding lessons in <city or beach name>"

Hoxton,

Good stuff! Lots of work and fun ahead of you, no doubt of that :)

Filled out the survey and hope it helps.

Biggest challenges we see our schools faced with are generally:
- Finding and keeping good instructors
- Sourcing and delivery of their equipment - there are a lot of remote schools out there
- Getting the right equipment - e.g. kite model A my suit my location, but model B may be best for yours
- Leaving money on the table through equipment sales - new kiters need to buy kites to stay in the sport!

Give us a call if you have any questions, happy to chat any time (and it's free!).

I've had limited exposure to ocean rodeo. But I have to say they never fail to impress. You would be hard pressed to find better in every aspect. Take go advice when it's offered. Give them a call

Regards Paul ;)

Did not get a chance to enter my age. I guess all of us 45+ are "mostly dead" already.

Yes, thanks for pointing this out, i'm currently dealing with council concessions/permissions so the location is yet to be finalized, somewhere in cornwall though.

wow that's a massive 112 replies! Thank you.
I know i'm pushing my luck but if there are any Girls out there who could answer the survey, that would be amazing. The men have the majority at the moment by 85%. I would love to get more balance if possible.

Thanks again.
