Fair enough - any 'big air comp' should be about the "highest" landed jump..

If someone did a 100ft jump but got beaten by a 30ft wakestyle or airstyle trick - that would be ridiculous..

They gotta stick to the name,

big air = highest jump !!

Freestyle or airstyle = best tricks Any height ..

Fun fun but the guy only jumped about 10ft high... The rest is all airtime "downwards"...

sure it only started off as a 10 foot jump but he ended up gliding out over 200 feet up in the air and thanks to the "risk factor" because he only had 600 pound lines and would die if one snapped, he would definitely win the big air contest.

The first loop looks powered, there had to be updraft in a front of the hill. Then he gets some slack from the first loop and from turning downwind so the rest of the loops are nice and mellow. What is interesting to me is that when flying like this you could actually use micro loop because the bar is pulled in all the time anyway and that in turn would allow any Airstyle trick you can imagine.
