If the trend is moving the front foil closer and closer to the keel/mast, for stiffness, then why doesn't anyone place it directly underneath , or do they?
It seems like the mounting bolts for the foil could easily double as the mounting bolts for the fuselage.
Although I love the rigidity of my one piece fuse/mast design, I would really love the convenience of a KBHF that disassembles.

That is how all the sailboats have the foils, the single foil is directly below the mast.
There was a video posted a while back about cavitation of a T foil with a single foil directly under a mast. Cavitation is from low pressure. There is a low pressure area above the foil and low pressure area behind the mast. Cavitation in that video was starting where those areas intersected.
Hmmm, that's some video , thanks. I had to take a break to let my brain equalize. Cool picture from Spain, not sure if I learned anything yet.
Amazing how old foil technology really is.
