Compared with the Draft, the '15 Edge feels far more powerful - I was pleasantly relieved & surprised, it really feels it has teeth, reminded me of the feeling from Naish C kites of old (Ravens & X's).
At the same time, they can be used for freeride and in the middle of a comfortable wind range, I have used them for light wind waveriding..... just about

I have rode 2014/2014 models and loved them so much I bought this years 13m and 9m. Best kites I have ridden to date. As 100kg+ guy these kites do everything very well. They rip up wind boost like no tomorrow and love them in the waves. A total top performing free ride kite. The 13m on my 140cm T5 board gets me going and boosting nice size jumps while other guys 30-40kgs less are on 14m Switchblades and 12m Slingshots doing small pops. Definitely improved from the previous generation Edges. Turns quick but it is not a C kite or wave dedicated kite. Still for me the turning speed is very fast in these sizes and wouldn't want them to turn any faster for sure. Then for super light it's the Chrono 18m. I think these kites are especially good for the heavier rider as they really do get you going. I'm sure I'll be sticking to them for the next few years at least. Also the new Edges account for about 50% of the kites on the water where I kite. You do need to treat them carefully on the beach though as they are not loaded down with protection along the leading edge.

If anyone is looking for one I have an 8 and a 13 both 2014-2015 model edges.
They are both in great condition, the 8 has been used only 4 times and the 13 a couple months only.
Upgrading to 9 and 12 Chronos
Good price!
