Yea men hope you guys have better luck with yours. setup was fairly easy although for some reason I could not get it to coonect to my home wifi and had to use my cell phone as a hotspot. I mean I can deal with the spotty traking issues as I think this can eventually be fixed but the poor camera quality is a nogo for me . I own several gopros going back a few years and all had a better quality video than this thing. I think you guys who bought the 4k will have better luck with the video quality. I mean 400 dollar drones have better tracking and video quality than this thing. I just don't understand why they would put such crap in a $700 dollar piece of equipment when u can get a decent gopro quality image camera for 100 dollars these days.

phpBB [video]

I have been playing around with my Optic25 version which I got the other day.
Getting mixed results on tracking. But think I have it worked out.

1. When I first got it up and running was not getting any preview picture on the screen only vertical coloured bars. I turned it off and removed the camera from the base and put it back on. Doing this fixed that issue.
2. Don't worry if the camera is not pointing at the the Tag after it does its warm up dance. It soon finds it when the Tag starts moving. I made the mistake of using the Refine option (manual adjustment of the camera) that only screwed up the camera tracking.
3. If the Tag is not moving the camera can start drifting away from the Tag. So the Tag needs to be moving to get a good lock on position.
4. Keep a good distance from the camera, At least 10m for best tracking results.

This is the best footage I have got so far. I did use "water" Mode which might explain the bad tracking when I rode into a low section of the road.
Framing was set as "centred"
Field of view as "tight"
Quailty as 1080p 60fps.

The quality of your video actually looks a little better than mines . will try to test this things again in a few days may be mines need some fine tuning.

I got mine today. It took so long to charge the battery that by the time I set it up it was dark. Hopefully there will be enough wind to foil tomorrow and Ill test it out then. The video of the 25 doesn't look that bad. I hope the 65 is a lot better.

Mine seems to be working pretty well. I didn't get to ride today because my drysuit is out of commission, but I got a friend of mine to wear the tag.

I shouldn't have extended the tripod as high, since the wind shook it a lot. But otherwise the video is pretty good.

My first successful session with the Soloshot3.
Tracks very well. Had about 90% Usuable footage.
Next time I will put tag on the arm that faces the camera. I should get even better long distance tracking.

Saul, pretty stable considering the wind.

Tell us more about the setup: wind protected? Heavy tripod etc ?

Soloshot3
Using a old heavy Manfrotto tripod with ball head. Was not very windy that session only 9-11knots. Also shelter it with my van.
