Recent Condition Reports - Tahoe Area

Postby phlow » Thu Jan 05, 2017 9:41 pm

Heading out to Tahoe 1/13/17. Anyone have any semi-recent intel as to conditions at some of the main spots on North Side (Mount Rose Meadows) or South Side (Grass Lake / Hope Valley)?

Sounds like they've gotten dumped and it's very severe avalanche risk, so I will be sticking to wide open spots, not back bowls etc.

Any inputs or pointers appreciated.

Before new years, Rose Meadows had good coverage, while Grass Lake and especially Hope Valley was marginal. Should be good anywhere after the current set of storms.

Thanks @gwicke, I had the avalanche center but not the other too links. Hopefully the rain won't trash it too bad and sounds like plenty of fresh after that.
