Booties pads and straps

Postby jakemoore » Thu Mar 22, 2018 6:00 pm

For those wearing thick wetsuit booties, do you leave the pads on your board? Anybody take the pads off to make it easier to fit booties?

Just need decent adjustable pads and straps, I find North Entity the best for this as you can not only adjust the strap length but also the width, and the height of the strap attachments, meaning that you can easily adjust between bare feet and the thickest boots. Love the 2018 version as well, no velcro!

Yes, depends on the straps.
Cannot fit 2mm boots through my Ocean Rodeo but can fit 7mm fine on Axis

I guess it depends on the feet. I wear size 9 and I can get my 5mm booties in the last three generations of ocean Rodeo straps as well as the entry level North straps. If you are a size 14 you may have different results.
