Slingshot Hoverglide is aluminum setup. Not sure of wings, pretty certain they're not carbon
pretty sure theyre made of cement
Someone in my FB time line weighed just the wing -- 2,156 grams :o 2kg just for the wing...!
Yeah, the Slingshot foil felt about as heavy as the donut tire for my car when I hefted it. Definitely not a foil with which I'd associate the word, "light."

Thanks for the numbers! Have you check the VMG difference? I'm thinking maybe Onda 633 is a good option for amateur racers :)

Why ???

Sorry to say, but IMHO it would almost be the worst possible for racing :o
Thick, low aspect, swept - couldnt be worse...

Perfect for many other things, but not that.

All other wings from Moses are way better for racing or amateur racing (easy and faster and better vmg) IMO.

If you want a fast freeride foil, have a look to our ZEEKO carbon hydrofoil or for a cheaper price the Bullet.
I competed last year with the bullet foil, and depends on the front wing used, you can reach easily more than 30knots of speed.

Bullet can be ridden with: Carver wing, race wing, freeride wing and speed wing.

If you look at max speed here are my personnal records (it could be improved by a better rider, and max speed was made with inflatable kites):

Carver wing: 27knots (50km/h or 31mph)
Race Wing: 33knots (61km/h or 38mph)
Freeride wing: 33knots (61km/h or 38mph)
Speed wing: 38.5knots (71km/h or 44mph)

what is fun with the bullet is you can ride super fast with a speed wing or make huge turns with a carver wing

ride easy
Nicolas
