Great review. How would you say it compares to last year's model in terms of the kite's performance? Nice riding btw.

I have used V2 different sizes for some time now and used V1 different sizes for a year. I can tell something from user experience but no technical talk :lol:

I think they have made a big change in this kite. V1 was a crazy lowwinder. I was sometimes using RS9 when others were riding 14-12m kites. It had crazy good jumping performance and hangtime with low and moderate winds. With strong winds or overpowered situations pull was heavy and it was hard to depower it. FS was better for strong winds.

V2 they have changed a lot and have lost this crazy lowend. It will still get going pretty fast but now it also likes strong winds and overpowered situations for jumping biiiig. Still awesome hangtime.

All this from bigair prospective because that's mainly what I do. :jump: :jump: :jump:

Thanks! :)
@pooder say a lot.
In my experience I think the whole kite seems more stable and stiffer in the profile. For sure better high end! Also I think it seems even better tuned. I noted my self I also heard from friends that it feels smoother jumping. Kind of smoother pull in the harness. But also feels even more precise on the bar.
As for the bar, that is a big change. The tapered bar last year felt balanced and light, but holding the depower rope between the fingers was not too nice, this has bin improved this year. Depower rope goes ice between fingers, and the bar itself not as thick around the center hole, so better grip there. Also soft barends is nicer! I really like the possibility for adjust the length of the bar in the bar ends. I think I will be using this feature! As for downside, if you are into handle passes, go FS for sure, but if you dont this will be such a fun jumper! So playful!
Loved the kite even more this year than last year. I normally ride the FS, but after testing this one ended up with both quivers... Couldn't help myself haha

Tried 2019 RS 9m. Superlight bar pressure - some people wouldn't like it but I do.
Jumps easily high but landing from jumps smoothly is harder compared to some high aspect kites (flysurfer boost, switch nitro).
I wouldn't buy it, but it's what kind of kites you like. Take a test drive :)

Funny, I feel the kite has great hang time and floats you down slowly. Easy to do soft landings. Tried the FS as well and that one comes down faster. Sure you tried an RS??

My thoughts too. Super soft landing. FS is more technical and comes down faster, but RS a easy and smooth landing.

Sure you can land smoothly with any kite, but I felt it is easier with my own boost or nitros (both are slower, bigger ar kites).
But it was quite quick test, and I wasn't get used to the new kite.

I agree that there is a bit of difference between v1 and v2. V1 landings were really super-super-butter-soft. V2 I would say landing are super-butter-soft ;-) But I like the kite much better for jumping since I have the feeling it steers much faster up to 12 o'clock. Only used 10m so far.
