Re: progress as quickly as possible

its all about going out there every time with goals in your head and a desire to push yourself. Once your doing tricks you should also be crashing regularly or else your not pushing yourself. Visualizing in advance helps too. I dont get as many days kiting as alot of people but thinking about what i...

Re: Kiting in the US, from June to August

definitely do not count on hitch hiking that is not going to work particularly with kite gear also make sure you really appreciate how big the US is compared to countries in Europe before you commit to driving all over it, unless your a big fan of road trips For that time period OBX should work and ...

Re: Who is riding waves the best?Windsurfer,Kitesurfer,Surfe

Re: I have a new 2009 Liquid Force HiFi, but can I learn on

You can learn with any kite particularly all the post 2008 kites In my experience the 2009 hi fi has excellent relaunch if you know how to do a 5th line relaunch. If the wind is decent, the hi fi will fly off the water like other kites by pulling a steering line. However if the wind is not quite the...

Re: 2008 liquid force bar, changing depower line

have had issues with changing depower ropes in the past. What you got to do is get some dacron sail tape, should be supplied with kite, and wrap the end as tightly as possible for a about 2 inches. Make sure you have plenty of excess tape hanging off the end so that you can thread the rope and then ...

Re: Is this solo launch technique safe? - 5line C-kite

i think your technique sounds fine

with the 5th sheeted in as the OP says even if the wind did shift the 5th would still be engaged and there would be little power. The kite would then resettle and you would be good to go.

love how versatile 5ths are

Re: Unhooking techniques....

i feel like no depower should be needed to unhook if your kite is trimmed right, particularly for C kites.

Maybe your lines have stretched unevenly and that is why you are depowering your C kite to unhook.
