Re: Kiteable ice in VT yet?

Great ice but no snow. Chris, only a couple skaters and an iceboat have broken through. A smallarea near an island is the problem. Trucks out there so its thick. P

Re: Help - Gripping bar in cold weather

I find the dakine open palm mitts to be the best. You can peel the mitt back to expose your fingers, if need be. You can also use your warm breath to restore numb fingers. No problem holding the bar. Warmer than my closed palm mitts and gloves.

Re: snow dumping for Kitestorm

Thanks are in order for Rachael's great efforts. THere was a god vibe and it was very inspiring to see 50 kites in the air at once. The wind was not super cooperative, but it was still a great time.

Re: Good 'Ole Dayze - Any Survivors?

Started in 99 and am still kiting whenever I can. Snow and water. Gear has improved so much over this time. I started on Mosquito Pro KS, which was a 2 line foil death machine. Went to Wipika 2 line and then the miracle of 4 lines. I remember all the disdain for 4 lines- bunch of wimps who don't kno...
