Re: Kite choices for foiling in high winds ?

Anyone try the Liquid Force Solo 6.5m for foiling? New 2016 Solo v2 going for cheap right now. I picked up a 1st gen 6.5 solo from a buddy but I have not used it yet. I figured it would be good for 15 mph and up with my LQ rocket foil. I also would be curious if anyone else has used it and what wei...

Re: Kite loop to waterstart

All good feedback. I think I need more time in some quality wind conditions. My best times so far have been when the wind was at least enough to form light whitecaps and steady. Then I was able to sheet out and control the height off the water with the kite pull rather than weight shifts. We have so...

Re: Kite loop to waterstart

Ok thanks, I kind of thought that would make the most sense because at the end of the loop the kite will be coming back up and heading in the same direction that I am pointing. I will try it with the small kite first to see how it works because I think it will respond to steering faster than the lar...

Kite loop to waterstart

Hey I’m new to foiling and am having hit or miss success. Seems like as soon as I get up and moving my kite immeadiately wants to stall and come down. Some of this is probably because I am trying to go in very minimal winds, like 12 mph lulling to sub 10 mph. Also I’m thinking my kites (switchblades...
