Re: Gong foils: discussion

I think the Veloce M would be fine for You. It is the fastest foil in their current range, but it is not racefoil fast. I have both the Curve M And the Veloce M. I prefer the Veloce because it has less drag, and glides better through gybes. I am 180cm / 76 kg. https://www.gong-galaxy.com/en/product/g...

Winglets is a known way to reduce drag by reducing the tip vortex. Not sure, havent checked, but I believe they are designed to work best and match the cruising speed, in order to save fuel, thus airline planes often use winglets. Neither Boeing 777, nor 787 have them, and widebody airliners are ar...

Re: Gong foils: discussion

Is the Rise too lifty for kite foiling, if not, how does the Rise M compare to the Moses 633 ? Perhaps I should ask which Gong foil is most like the Moses 633 ? The Curve M is closest to the 633. I find the Curve M to be too lifty /draggy for my taste ( My previous foil was a Zeeko with 535 and 710...

Re: a seat harness you can bend at the waist with? does it exist?

I have been using the Pat Love Two Go hybrid harness for many years now.
Its basically a waist harness with webbing and leg straps.
Best of both worlds IMO.
Its now called Pat Love Ace : https://dnasurf.com/da/produkt/pat-love ... surf-2021/
