Re: Having a Naish Kite? Hopefully, you never need spare par

We have 8% VAT in Switzerland. That's less than the half that other European countries have. Germany for example has 19% VAT

@eree: I suggest that you seek for just a little bit of information before you write such things.

Re: Having a Naish Kite? Hopefully, you never need spare par

Have asked two surfshops in our country to perform the reparation. One was even more expensive (250 US$) for the LE Bladder. After 18 days (one day after posting this message here), I have got a reply from the Naish distributor in Switzerland (Fanagus AG) and a good offer for a newer bar (I assume a...

Re: Having a Naish Kite? Hopefully, you never need spare par

Yes, it's the leading edge bladder. The Front tube exploded in the waves. It was partially my fault, although I dropped the kite in the waves because the Quick Release of the Naish Bar opened unintentionally. The Naish Bar with the unpractically Power Adjuster near the safety line and the missing po...

Having a Naish Kite? Hopefully, you never need spare parts

Had to replace the Front Tube on my two years old Naish Bolt Kite and have ordered the Naish spare parts at my local surf shop in Switzerland. What a bad surprise when I got the bill: CHF 210 / US$ 230 for a front tube is much exaggerated. But to pay CHF 49 / US$ 55 for one bridle with a 10 inch rop...

Re: Lightwind problem with Naish Bolt, 10.5m, model 2012

Many thanks for the hints.

Had another light wind day with wind around 10 to 12 knots. With the knowledge that the fully powered kite stalls when pulling the bar, it's not difficult to follow dyylans hints. Steering the kite without pulling the bar to close works fine with the Bolt.

:D

Re: Lightwind problem with Naish Bolt, 10.5m, model 2012

This is a great forum with great people, thank you all for your advices! I think that the tips from Dyylan are very helpful and I will try all this. Light wind for me with that kite is about 8 to 12 knots, I'm 69 kg. I just never had the problem with my old JN kite that the kite drops while flying f...

Lightwind problem with Naish Bolt, 10.5m, model 2012

Have used this kite for about two months and the following happen to me several times: When kiting with low wind and changing the direction, the kite moves only only until the trailing edge points to the water. Then the kite stays in this position for about 1 to 2 seconds and then slowly falls in th...

New series of JN Kites?

Have seen that JN released a new generation of their Kite line. Has anyone tried them? Any experience?
I'm still flying a Prima Donna 2 from 2007 and consider it as a very good Kite, even when compared with more recent kites from other brands.

Re: North Neo 2012 - feedback needed (mainly for waves)

My girlfriend bought a 12m Neo (2011) and I used it some days in Barbados in waves: + very stable + good wind range, lot of power + steering possible even when depowered. - far too slow in the waves! Have impression of 2 seconds delay on steering movements. My old 11m 2007 JN Prima Donna 2 or a 12m ...

Re: Need help choosing the right kite

Thank you for the recommendation of the Naish Bolt. I'm not sure about Naish, have the impression that they have not really an evolution and that they change their kite concepts every year.
Has anybody experience with a JN Prima Donna 4 or with a North Fuse?

Franz
