your way of building your board is good but your material is way to heavy . use one quarter inch plywood this way u can give it slight rocker about one inch and you will have a med .amount of flex. flex is very important. and the weight will cut in half. make the second sheet match the bottom peice ...

Mike I like people who make there own boards so here is my advice: make the board flat it will be the simplest way then one inch rocker with continious curve and twin tips need very little volume and if the board is total wood then glass will not be needed just seal the board with a thin coat of epo...

i would be glad to show u around SD but this time of year the wind only works on santa anas and storms we show up at sail bay any day it is windy but i spend most of my time in San Felipe mexico jpin our facebook so cal kiteboarders or my facebook laroy rutledge

just experienced this problem in Mexico my opinion is 2 mil max and go just a shade large on the gloves. to tight and u cant keep a grip on the bar. and the gloves should be made of smothy material only. thats all i know .

reading your post what i think u want is not so much a surfboard as a user friendly surfboard that is fast and very little tail rocker and good in chop. the only one made by a large company i can think of is the F one 5.6 fish. this board is very unusual in that it is frirly flat. it will work fairl...

as a board builder i would say this u did not buy the board from f one u bought it from a dealer and that is who should handle it for u f one is a very costly board and should do something for u that u are happy with personaly i would take it back and fix it for free and pay for the freight. the pro...

in San Diego we have been dealing with that problem for a long time all u have to do to any below the bar system is to put a pully on the other end of the rope. the rope just is not designed to wrap around a ring and pull easily.
